About RLCFC

Redeemed Life Christian Fellowship Club (RLCFC) is a spiritual department of Nsambya Secondary School that gives students an opportunity to develop a stronger relationship with God by addressing all their spiritual concerns and needs. RLCFC encourages students to find support, help and hope through bonding, fellowship, bible study, prayers, counseling, testimonies, music, dance and drama, retreats and an adventure into the word of God.

Brief History of RLCFC

Redeemed Life Christian Fellowship Club is a Christ-centred Club, founded in 2003 by the Director of the school Mrs Juliet Nabwire Mubiru, working in partnership with the staff and students within the school. Before the opening of the school in 2003, she had an idea of contributing to the work of God through ministering to his people. Therefore, the school gave me an opportunity to minister to the various categories of students we receive some of whom have lost hope for example the orphans, those from war ravaged areas of Northern Uganda and Southern Sudan, the former street children, those traumatized in different ways like rape, torture, to mention but a few. I have realized that through this club, so many souls have been redeemed from hopelessness to hopefulness to God’s glory.

Aims of RLCFC

The RLCFC’s aim is to use the Bible to encourage and equip students to live a God fearing life, holy and free from sin, follow Jesus Christ and participate in His mission of bringing hope to the hopeless. To achieve this aim, we work in a variety of areas in obedience to our Lord Jesus Christ and in reliance on the Holy Spirit, and these include:

Strategy

To help maintain a healthy spiritual atmosphere that enables our students to experience the presence of God, we conduct two main services every week. On Thursday from 4:30pm – 6:00pm and Sunday from 8:00am – 11:00am. Besides the two weekly worship services, there are a number of small group gatherings focusing on bible study, prayer, testimonies, praise and worship as well as choir rehearsals. We also conduct outside school missions in line with our aims and objectives.

Pastoral Team

RLCFC has a number of Pastors and Ministers from within and outside the country. The Pastoral Team is led by the Director of the school Mrs. Juliet Nabwire Mubiru as the Lead Pastor. She is assisted by a team of ministers that include among others Pastor Mubiru Philip, Pastor Bwambale Sedrack , Pastor Were John and Pastor Wako.
These are anointed ministers that speak on new dimension of revelatory knowledge in scripture and mysteries of the faith that is of Christ Jesus our Lord and Saviour! They have the Love for the students and desire to enrich the children of God to arise. The best kept secret of RLCFC in Nsambya S.S. is the dedication of the RLCFC leaders that serve prayerfully in their various capacities.
